About

I’m Isabelle, a 17-year-old scuba diver. I fell in love with the ocean at 7 years old, when I snorkelled for the first time, enchanted by the beautiful and diverse life living below the water’s surface. The following year, I saw manta rays for the first time in Hanifaru Bay, a UNESCO protected site in the Maldives. That awe-inspiring encounter sparked my deep passion for the ocean, and I’m now a PADI Rescue Diver striving to advocate for marine conservation. Driven by this mission, I created Kaia Initiative at the end of 2023 with a group of like-minded friends. Our shared vision is simple: to ignite awareness and appreciation for the ocean among today's youth.
